The Old City Hall in Belle Fourche

Boherroe LLC., a holding company owned by John and Meg English,
purchased the old City Hall in June 2007.
John & Meg also own and operate the Black Hills School of Woodworking.

The building was begun in 1935 as a WPA project and was dedicated as the City Hall
and volunteer fire station in July, 1937. Constructed of local sandstone that was quarried
three miles southeast of town, its footprint is approximately 56' x 65'. There is no basement.

In June 2008, the Black Hills School of Woodworking occupied most of the upper floor,
while the City of Belle Fourche office are still located on the ground floor.
A new City Hall is currently being built across the street.
